Jailbreak iOS 5.1.1 for iPhone and iPad |
There is some condition needed before Jailbreaking your Apple to the latest Jailbreak iOS 5.1.1.
It is important not to update, if you are bothered to maintain your
untethered jailbreak. You can use the latest version of RedSn0w to
perform a tethered Jailbreak iOS 5.1.1 if you have your device
jailbreakable. This is the step to jailbreak your Apple device and it is
for A4 devices only.

How to jailbreak iOS 5.1.1 using Redsn0w
First you need to download the latest
version of RedSn0w 0.9.10b8b, and then connect your device to your
computer. Then place it into DFU mode and run RedSn0w. Go to extras,
select IPSW, and point to your iOS 5.1 firmware for this device. After
RedSn0w successfully identifies the 5.1 firmware, back to the main page
of RedSn0w and click Jailbreak. After it identifies the build, click
Next that later it will ask you to install Cydia. You will find Cydia
will be installed and your device will reboot. Upon reboot, place your
device back into DFU mode. Perform a tethered boot via RedSn0w by going
back to Extras page and click Just Boot. You will have your device
reboot and you will have usable Cydia icon on your Home screen. This is a
tethered iOS 5.1.1 jailbreak, once RedSn0w is updated for iOS 5.1.1 you
